Kevin provided a highly professional job on the outside of our house. The pictures clearly demonstrate the excellent level of finish where the render was repaired in numerous areas and then covered with 2 coats of Weathertex brilliant white AP77.

Excellent Service from Start to Finish From the outset, the Kevin was extremely helpful—offering clear advice and guidance to help us choose the right paint and wall coverings. He arrived promptly each day, worked diligently, and always ensured that furniture and flooring were fully protected. The quality of the finish is excellent, and the work was completed within the agreed timeframe. Nothing was too much trouble and Kevin was clear in his request for us to have a close look and create a snag list, he then ensured all snags were dealt with promptly and to our very high standards. We’re really pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Kevin to others.

Kevin has done an incredible job of helping turn our house into a home. He is a pleasure to have around and his decorating is to an exceptional standard. He is very thoughtful - dropped boxes off so we could pack up belongings to help clear space, and would give advice regarding colour options when needed. We can’t recommend his services enough.

I had originally selected Kevin to do the work because of his outstanding reviews and eye for detail. His work reinforced those reviews. The standard of finish is first class. Kevin listens to any requirements that you make and makes recommendations if sought. Kevin came originally to do the quote, then agree the colour requirements nearer the time and then finally do the work. Kevin does it all himself, you know exactly where you stand from start to finish. First Class!

We found Youngs Decorating Services through Nextdoor - the local neighbourhood app. Kevin Young visited us to find out our requirements and then provided a detailed quote which was acceptable to us. Kevin was with us for 3 weeks, working alone, to decorate every room in our home, apart from the bathroom. This included every wall, all woodwork (apart from internal doors) and every ceiling. Kevin is a professional and it showed in his approach to this sizeable job. He uses quality paint and has a good choice of colours and advice if required when making your choices. He was punctual, communicative and very respectful of our home, protecting everything and leaving no mess at the end of each day. His experience showed in his attention to detail , preparation and the standard of finish. Kevin is friendly, reliable and trustworthy, we had no problem leaving him to get on with the job and are delighted with the result. Thank you, Kevin, for your hard work and professionalism. Lynn and Michael

kevin has recently completed 3 weeks work in my home including our lounge and a very difficult and large vaulted hall stairs and landing, works included all woodwork and walls, fantastic job, very little mess, cleaned and cleared at the end of each working day, all flooring was fully covered and my home was fully respected throughout the work. Kevin is booked back in with us for March where we will continue decoration works, kevin will be doing the full house over the coming year. Cannot recommend this company and Kevin personally, simply a first rate tradesman and a very conscientious gentleman. Thank you for the work undertaken to date Kevin. We welcome you back to progress the rest of our home.

We have recently used Kevin for a second time: to decorate a second bedroom, and have booked him for a third time to decorate our hall way and landing. He is clean, thorough, tidy and professional, providing quality workmanship. Thank you.

Kevin painted our new kitchen in December .He was a massive help towards choosing a colour as we were undecided . It turned out beautiful . Not only were we impressed with his workmanship and attention to detail he was also a pleasant person to have in the house . Even fed the cats when we went out for the day ! Would highly recommended him . Very professional.

Kevin completed my Victorian terrace front and back restoration of sash windows this summer 2023. The attention to detail and prep work completed far exceeded my expectations. Windows were prepared and sanded and old wood rotten since construction over a hundred years ago replaced by top end industry standard resin repair works. Most notably he took time to discuss the colour choice with me and demonstrated a genuine interest in 'my project' to ensure I was happy with the outcome. There were some areas of the old sash woodwork that needed more complex repair. Kevin provided complete transparency on any additional works as they became apparent. In summary. I'm so pleased with the outcome and it was the attention to detail and prep work that transformed the front and back facades. I recommend Youngs Decorating Services as top class top job start to finish.

Kevin recently painted our rear garden fencing and 2 sheds. He is meticulous, thorough and professional in his manner. A friendly person who we would highly recommend.

Always a great professional job. Have used many times for internal and external work. Would highly recommend.
